Because of the basic education of physical therapy, graduates have many options besides becoming a physical therapist. High quality graduates of NCKU physical therapy program have an advantage in every selection.

1) Pass the licensing test and become a physical therapist employed in the medical system (hospital, physical therapy center, clinic, or rehabilitation center)

2) Study related subjects and get credits to become technical specialists in related fields. Examples include special education teacher, technician in sport injury prevention, technician in home care and community care

3) Engage in research and development of artificial limbs, braces, and other medical equipments.

4) Develop the health field, such as hospice care centers, senior centers, and fitness centers.
