The department aims to stand as a national physical therapy center of cutting-edge research and outstanding academic programs through diverse cooperation and international communication.
Mission Statement
Missions of the Department are to nurture students to become physical therapists with professional judgment, humanistic concerns, and being able to absorb and put into use modern knowledge; to provide a sound environment of education, research and development for the faculty; and to enhance the development of physical therapy disciplines with our achievements in teaching and research.
Goals
Undergraduate Program
To nurture students to become physical therapists with three capabilities and four attitudes; that is, capabilities of employing professional theories, performing professional skills and integrating theories with clinical practices; attitudes of professional ethics, professional identification, social concerns and life-time learning.
Master Program
To nurture talents with academic research capabilities in physical therapy and interdisciplinary specialists with focus on movement science.
