NCKU COVID-19 Prevention Caucus revises the prevention measures on January 24 due to the COVID-19 case traveling to Tainan
To all faculty, staffs, and students,
The number of local COVID-19 cases is increasing, and Omicron virus spreads rapidly, causing multiple community infections in Taiwan. There was a confirmed case of COVID-19 who had been in 台南玄饌海鮮宴會館 on January 16 according to the report from Tainan city on January 21. Some staff in NCKU also dined at the restaurant on January 17. To avoid the outbreak of COVID-19 in our school and Tainan City, the following measures are requested to everyone.
1. The venue of our campus will not be borrowed by outsiders to hold activities.
2. Group activities that have been planned for outsiders to participate in should been suspended (except meetings related to school operation).
3. If you have been to the restaurant on or after January 16, please conduct self-health management for 7 days. During the 7-day period, entering the campus is not allowed, and please conduct rapid screening and try to avoid to go to public places. If you have symptoms of respiratory infection, such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, etc., please go to the hospital for a PCR test as soon as possible.
